June Jacobs, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 18, 2024 in Safford, Ariz. She was born on Nov. 4, 1937, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Robert Howard Billingsley and Rose Wesson Billingsley.
June was known for her love of treasure hunting at yard sales and thrift stores, where she found joy in discovering unique items. However, her greatest joy came from spending time her family and creating everlasting memories with them.
After graduating from Ajo High School in the class of 1955, June married Elvin Jacobs in Ajo, Ariz., in June of that same year. Together they raised two sons, Robert Martin Jacobs and Michael Lee Jacobs. June cherished her role as a mother and dedicated herself to providing a loving home for her family.
June will be dearly missed by her surviving family members: son Michael (Teresa) Jacobs; grandsons Justin (Stephanie) Jacobs, Ryan (Briana) Jacobs and Craig (Heather) Jacobs, and great-grandchildren Deagan Jacobs, Aleece Jacobs, Clayton Jacobs, Aubree Jacobs and Gage Jacobs.
June was greeted in heaven by her father Robert Howard Billingsley, her mother Rose Wesson Billingsley, her brother Howard Billingsley and by her son Robert Martin Jacobs.
June's warm presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness and love will be remembered forever. May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
