My condolences to the Costa family and to all whose lives were touched by David and family. Having known both David and Judy (for years) from teaching the inner- city children as well as serving on the Altar I am able to say it was an honor and delight to have been associated with you.
Until we meet again in Heaven my Prayers will be with you and the family here on Earth. Love you. Leo Mogavero

Dear Judy, Jennifer, Andrew and all the members of David's family:
David and I met when he was in 4th Grade at St. Elizabeth's School in Bristol, Rhode Island. As his teacher in 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th, I was astonished by his maturity, and his ability to handle any setbacks. Our friendship continued throughout the years, and I was in awe regarding his faith, service and love of family. David had a place reserved for him in Heaven. From there, he will be interceding for all those he loved in life.

My sincere condolences to David´s entire family! His smile would light up a room wherever he went we went to grade school together and then onto high school! He was most loving, respectable and kind caring and giving there are not enough words to describe David! Rest in peace, my sweet friend!

Oh David, Anthony and I will miss you so. First of all your warmth, love and hearty laugh. The decades of shared experiences, long phone calls , and support at critical times. Judy was your rock and you were one of ours. Love to Judy as well as Andrew and Jen and grandchildren.. We are bereft and will carry him in our hearts forever.
