Douglas Rainey Obituary
He was born in Fall River, Ma., the son soon of the late Robert and Marilyn E. (Stratton) Rainey.
Doug has been living in Brookline for over 10 years at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery, working there as a general laborer, helping with all the daily activities.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
While living in Warren he was a member of the Italian American Club and the Warren Soccer Club.
Doug is survived by his brother Robert "Bob" Rainey of Warwick, and his sister Patricia " Patty" Patterson of Scituate, RI.
He was the brother of the late Michael Jeffrey Rainey and the late James "Jim" Rainey.
A funeral service for Doug will be held on Tuesday October 18,2022 at 10:00am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI.
Burial will follow in North Burial Ground,1081 Hope Street, Bristol, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are TUESDAY MORNING from 9:00am -10:00am in the funeral home.

I was just looking up some old friends when I saw that dog had passed away. I´m so sorry for your loss. I don´t know if you all remember me, but Doug and I used to hang together with Jeff moniz rest in peace, my friend God bless so sorry for your loss
