Robert Marshall Obituary
He was the son of the late Adeleen and Quiteria (Geyer) Marshall. He is survived by his children: Bob Marshall and his wife Ann of Providence; Thomas Marshall and his wife Debbie of Bristol; David Marshall of Bristol; Gary Marshall and his wife Lisa of Bristol; grandchildren: John Marshall, Kit Marshall, Katie Marshall, Gary Marshall, Gregory Marshall, Bethany Marshall and great grandchildren Eliott Marshall and Aubrey Pimental and Emersyn Pimental. He was the brother of the late Marguerite Anderly and Theresa Bramwell.
Mr. Marshall was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1950 and employed by Hasbro before retiring. He served in the Army during the Korean War and enjoyed spending time on Prudence Island. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered his time for many Tootsie Roll drives.
His funeral services were held February 6th from the George C. Lima Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Elizabeth's Church. Liturgical readings were by Bethany Marshall and Kit Marshall. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Katie Marshall and the offertory gifts were presented by John Marshall, Gregory Marshall and Gary Marshall. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Special Olympics Rhode Island, 370 George Washing Hwy, Smithfield RI 02917-1921.
