Alfred Constantine Obituary

ALFRED FOSTER CONSTANTINE Resident of Walnut Creek 92, died Nov. 14, 2006, former 30 year resident of Sonoma. Beloved husband of Genevieve Constantine for 68 years. Loving father of Nadine Holifield, grandfather of Jason and Jennifer Holifield and great grandfather of Alexi and Annamaja Holifield. Dear brother of Carol Bandaccari, William Constantine and the late Robert and John Constantine and Elizabeth, also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a former resident of Berkeley and native of Sacramento. Alfred was a retired Lieutenant of the Berkeley Fire Dept. as well as civilian Fire Chief, United States Navy, Veteran Flying Tigers Group, 14th, Air Force, China Theatre, W.W.II. Member California State Firemens Ass., Berkeley Firefighters local #1227, Member 12th, Naval District board of Fire Chiefs, Flying Tigers Ass., former manager Alhambra Water's Semi-Professional Baseball Club. Friends are invited to a funeral Mass at 1 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 18th, 2006 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Napa St. and 3rd St West, Sonoma. A visitation at Duggan's Mission Chapel on Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entombment at St. Francis Cemetery, Sonoma.
