Alice's passing is a great loss to not only her family and friends but to the community and church. Even though I have not seen her in many years, I can still see her bright smile and feel her warm caring hugs she would give to me as a child.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gillespie family.

I had the good fortune of knowing Alice for the last three years of her life. I was introduced to her by her grandaughter Tami, my school chum and her caregiver. I was impressed by Alice's joyfulness and generosity. Having no grandmother of my own, left me with a deep appreciation of the loving, warm and

welcoming spirit contained within Alice. In no time at all, she found herself a permanent place in my heart and I will miss her company and her giggles.

My heartfelt sympathies are with the family especially Jim and Sue. Your mother was a delightful and caring person and I was priviledged to call her a dear friend. She will be greatly missed. I shall always remember her sweet spirit and ready smile. Carolyn Grover
