Angelina Anshutz Obituary

Angelina Anshutz Aug. 28, 1918~June 5, 2009 Resident of Ripon Angie entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2009 at the age of 90 with her two daughters at her side. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andy Anshutz, her son Patrick Botelho, first husband Rex Botelho and her granddaughter's husband, Don Campbell. Angie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman of great energy and dedication to her family. Angie was born August 28, 1918 in Rhode Island to Luigi & Louise Disano. She spent her childhood years in Rhode Island, and had lived in Hayward, CA for over 60 years, living the last 5 years in Ripon, CA with her daughter Sandy and family. Angie was a great cook, and loved to cook Italian dishes for family and friends. She loved to bowl, travel the country, Casino's, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Angie is survived by and adoring family; her two daughters; Sandra Cordero (Louis) of Ripon, and Kathleen Dean (Bill) of Pine Grove, CA. Her two brothers and one sister in Rhode Island Jim Disano, Dick Disano and Betty Belmont. She was the 7th child of 13 children. Angie leaves behind 8 grandchildren Alisa, Erik, Heather, Isaac, David, Denise, Cindy, and Julieann. 16 great-grandchildren Amanda, Sarah, Skyler, Macy, Alexander, Natalie, Jaden, Arianna, Isaac, Isabella, Derek, Jasmine, Joey, Tiffany Ann, Haley and Amy. Angie worked as the final inspector for Security Parachute Co., in San Leandro, CA, for the Air Force and sometimes NASA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any remembrances be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the American Cancer Society. Committal services will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on June 17, 2009 at 1:30pm. Arrangements under the direction of Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.
