She is going to kill me for this but she would always talk about your butt. lol SORRY MOM! If you have any plans for her to be with another man, will you please make sure that he will treat her some what like you did. Ya i know i know that no one will ever take her hart like you did or ever treat her the way you did but can you please make it some what add up to you......? I wish you could have been in Caytlens life a little longer. She had gotten so big with in the short time you past. Dan and I really wanted you to be there, But now I guess you will be there, but watching from the heavens. Mom always is showin her your pic, and she gives out a BIG smail. Please keep her safe, she is our world. And one more thing.... thanks for being there for the boys. In the short time you were there dad. I first met Artie in 1969 at Mather AFB, we were working on a B-52 and he showed me how an ALT-6B jammer was capable of jamming any TV signal in the area. He was always on the edge.
We made it thru the USAF, ARC, CSUS and survived the 70's. We attended many Rock Concerts at UOP. At one concert the Stockton Police used their new riot gear and tear gas on the crowd inside the stadium. We barely got out alive without being squashed by the stampeding crowd.
Artie was always at the center of whatever was going on. All of us who knew Art will miss "Artie's Adventures"

Artie, we will miss your goofie stories and adventures. You were always one to keep the smile going but very direct too! Loved the day you drove your New corvette over to show us all, you had waited so long to have one and you got it! We love ya and will truly miss your face and spunky way.

I was So shocked to hear the news about Art's passing..I had just talked to him a week ago and commented on how healthy he looked. I met Art sometime in the early 70's. He always had a smile on his face and full of life! Art will be missed by lots of loving family and friends. My prayers are with his family.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Artie's passing. He's been a great friend and neighbor for the past 9 years since we moved into our house, and we'll really miss him. He's always been so kind, generous, and lots of fun, too. Always friendly, ready to lend a helping hand, and ALWAYS smiling - that's Artie. They say it's always 'the little things' but I think what I'll miss most is him dropping by on his way past - iIf we were outside, he nearly always stopped to chat for a bit. It's surreal driving by his house and seeing his truck, beloved 'vette, and knowing that Artie's not there. We're so sorry for his family and many, many friends who are feeling a huge loss.

I was very saddened to hear of Art's sudden passing. I feel much sorrow for all of his family, friends, girl friend that we won't have another opportunity to have a great time with Artie. That was for sure, Artie loved a good time, and he loved his friends. From the first time I met him, when he did some repair work for me (a small job), but no job was too small for Artie, and then when he invited me along with all of his other friends to the coral reif to celebrate I think his 40th b.d. to some times in between and his building a garage for me, and all that cement, and how amazingly fast it was prepared once poured, to his 60th birthday blast this year, it was all fun, and I will always remember how much fun he was, the big smile on his face, the genuine welcome he had for all, and his amazingly fit as a fiddle physique. He gave so much love for all of his friends. May he rest in peace. It is with much sorrow that I sign this

I knew Artie for many years through work. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. As everyone here has stated, he was the nicest person whom would do anything for a friend or family member. He was charming, kind, funny and energetic. He will be greatly missed.

Artie was a great guy! We first met in the USAF in 1969. We remained friends for many years afterwards...I would stay with him when I visited Sacramento and he with me if he had a contract job in Los Angeles. I hadn't seen him in recent years, but will remember his kind-heartedness always.

I met Artie way back in the late 60's when we were stationed at Mather AFB. Although I remained in the service and was out of the country a lot, whenever I was in California I made sure I visited to see how he was doing. He was an energenic, ambitious person with his eye on the future but always ready to enjoy the present. He will be missed.

Artie was a great friend that would do anything and help anyone that needed it. Artie, JG, Bob and I go back to 1968 when he showed up at Mather AFB and shared a room with JG. We partied and had a great time together and have always remained very close. We will miss him greatly and alway think of energized and non-stop personality.

Will miss you Artie..........................Sandy Rainey
