C.L. Wysuph Obituary

C. L. Wysuph June 25, 1939 - Nov. 18, 2010 Resident of Marina del Rey, CA (Formerly, Lafayette, CA) C. L. passed away at the age of 71 from organ failure and pneumonia. He was in the VA Hospital in Santa Monica, CA with his daughter Samantha by his side. He is survived by his son Todd, daughter-in-law Keiko, grandson Trevor and granddaughter Alyssa (all of Bend, Oregon), as well a his daughter Samantha of Oakland and his sister Sandra Livingston of Southern California. He had lived in Marina del Rey for the past seven years after living in the San Francisco Bay Area for most of his adult life. He graduated from Cal State Hayward with a degree in Art and did his Master's studies in Art History at the University of California Berkeley. He worked as Curator of Art at the Maxwell Galleries in San Francisco, was a Lecturer in Art History at Cal State Hayward, co-owner of two art galleries, one in San Francisco and another in West Hollywood. He established his independent appraisal business in 1975. Following a ceremony, The U.S. Navy will distribute C.L.'s remains at sea from an aircraft carrier. Donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him. We will forever look at art through his eyes as we rejoice in the joy that this part of his life gave him.

In Memory 2020! I'm re-reading all of the Henning Mankel mysteries. It is like a first time experience all over again! I also HIGHLY recommend Paul Auster, THE BOOK OF ILLUSIONS!
