Charles Schnatmeyer Obituary

CHARLES CORBETT SCHNATMEYER Died on Wednesday in Big Oak Flat at the age of 49. Mr. Schnatmeyer was a carpenter for Pine Mountain Lake Resort in Big Oak Flat. Prior to that he was a journeyman carpenter for the City of San Francisco Water Department for 15 years. He was a graduate of Mission San Jose High School in Fremont. He had served the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974, stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., and Key West Naval Barracks, Florida. Charlie loved fishing and hiking, especially with his son, Corbett; whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his son Corbett Charles Schnatmeyer of Manteca; brothers Michael Schnatmeyer of Orville, and Donald Schnatmeyer of Sacramento; his aunt Ann Schnatmeyer of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy and Marie Schnatmeyer. Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Dear Corbett, this is for you. Your dad was really Loved by Karl and I. I first met him when he was a little younger than you, What a Teenager! I will write to you and send what pictures I have. And, you probably already know this, but he was so proud to name you Corbett. I will miss him so much. But, he has a wonderful Uncle, same name, can you believe that, who he is with now. Two Charles Schnatmeyers in heaven together, thats really something. Give your mom a big hug and kiss for me, She is a Wonderful lady, Your a Truly Blessed Young Man to Have Her. All My Love and Prayers, Your Great Aunt Ann
