I frist meet Chet in 1989, he soon became a good friend. I knew him then as I have always known him, a man of good humor, strong will, and a kind heart. I will miss him.

I will always treasure the experience of being at Chet's memorial service. It was absolutely beautiful and inspiring.

Chet was such a cute little boy and even as he grew into adulthood,he retained that delightful "little boy" attitude. He truly seemed to thrive whenever he was around any of his relatives. It is very comforting to know he is with His Heavenly Father now.

To my Dear Niece and family,

I remember the time you and your family came to see us in a camper truck. My children and both you and Chet all slept out there. You and Chet were quite young then. Those were the good times that "I" remember. Then I had the wonderful chat with Chet on the telephone a few weeks before his passing, and we had a good time chatting about lots of things. I'll never forget his voice that day as it still rings in my ears and in my heart!

May you and your family know, Chet is at "peace"..which is what alot of us do not have on this earth. God be with you all, 'til we meet again!! Loving you always, Aunt Donna

Dear Chet, I write to tell you once again how much I love you, loved you and will always love you. I know that you still live in heaven and I believe that your spirit has visited me, and I hope that you will continue to do so. I think about you all the time. I will always be extremely sad that you are no longer here. I miss you so much! If you are reading this, I want you to know that you are my #1 son and that you always will be. I wish that we could have had more time together, but I do believe that I will see you again. Whatever happens in the future for you I wish it to be wonderful! You always had a wonderful heart and were a blessing to me. Love, Mom

Chet, you were my only sibling. I have never felt more horrible in my life. Your physical body is gone and I can not see you or talk to you. In spite of that, I believe you're alive and I look for you everywhere. I had hoped that you would be here to help me with the tough times ahead and the wonderful things to come as well. I know we did not spend that much time together; we were both so caught up in our own lives and problems... problems that I now resent because they kept me from doing the only thing that really matters... spending time with family and friends...spending time with you. If only I'd known that I would have so little time with you I would have done it all differently. I would have said or not said certain things. I miss you so much and nothing can fill up this aching whole in my heart. Mom and Dad are very sad and I hope you can find a way to comfort them (and me) and bring us confirmation of your continuing life. The day we scattered your ashes in the water, along with lilies and carnations, we saw the white bird. Please send more white birds or other things that will help us know you are at peace and that you live. Love always, your little sister.

Dearest Chet,

You were called home too soon but perhaps God wants you for Himself now. You touched many lives here and through your good and bad times, you did do a lot of good. Thank you for saving Lucy and Velvet and for your love of animals, your tender side that perhaps many did not know about but was still there. I know that you are still around your family for love lives on and NEVER leaves and reaches through eternity. In the arms of the angels may you find some comfort there.

Hello, my name is Jenifer and I know Chet from my friend Koy. I know him from Motowars and from the beginning knew him as good person, always ready to help you out with whatever you needed and always eager to try his hardest! I also just recently saw him at a local restaurant. We exchanged our hellos and then I knew why I felt such a close friendship to him. He had after all the months that I had lost contact with him, still remembered who I was. He still wanted me to keep in contact and could tell that I meant something to him in his life even though I was " just a buddy's girlfriend"! I should probably mention that Chet was closer to my boyfriend of almost 7 years. He still was always in my thoughts.
