"Happiness to all, it's been a dream," were the parting words Clara gave before her peaceful passing on Sunday morning while surrounded by family.
Born in Berkeley, Clara dedicated her life to her family and community. She enjoyed traveling, art, and the "old time" movies. She worked as a receptionist for the Richmond Unified School District. She was heavily involved in the Italian Catholic Federation (Richmond and El Cerrito branches), the Fratellanza Woman's Club, and St. Jerome's Church and school.
Clara is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years Aldo and their five children, Marty (Joe), Paul (Linda), Anna (Luigi), Laura (Dan), and Carla (Mark). Seven grandchildren, Michael, Angelina, Nicole, David, Jonathan, Joshua, and Isabella, were a source of great joy. Clara was preceded in death by her sister, Granuccia Jacuzzi and a granddaughter, Megan Mishork.
Clara will be remembered as a mother and grandmother, as the center of the Bracciotti family, and as a selfless provider. She will be deeply missed.
Viewing will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, at Sunset View Mortuary with the Rosary at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 29 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. The Committal will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made in Clara's name to the Fratellanza Women's Social Club Scholarship Fund, 1140 66th St. Oakland, CA 94608.

I was so sorry to read about Mrs. Bracciotti passing. She was another mother to me during high school. Even though I haven't seen her in a very long time, she was always in my thoughts. Please accept my heartfelt condolences!
