Clara (Peggy) Carter
June 27, 1928 to May 20, 2014
Former Resident of Pittsburg, CA
Peggy died after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She retired from the Retail Clerks Union in 1990 after many years of service. She worked for Lorays, Ralphs and Lucky Stores. She loved music, concert going, collecting dolls & antiques. Her special love was collecting vintage Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. Peggy loved animals and was involved in animal rescue in the Bay Area. She belonged to Tony LaRussa's ARF Foundation and Community Concern for Cats.
She is survived by her sons Dean Wilson (Pam) of Santa Rosa, CA and Mike Wilson (Debbie) of Saint Anthony, ID, two grandchildren, Joe Wilson of Idaho Falls, ID and Katie Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah and one great grandson, Brendon.
She spent the last 8 years living in Idaho enjoying her family. There will be no services, so in leu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal rescue organization in her name.
