Claudia Madro Obituary

CLAUDIA PATRICIA MADRO 45, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Claudia was born to Joseph and Patricia Madro on October 14, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. She spent her early years in San Diego before moving with her family to Houston, Texas in 1973. She graduated high school there and attended University of Texas. Claudia moved to Alameda, California in 1978 and worked in several customer service positions before relocating to Maui, Hawaii in 1986 to manage the retail division of Madro & Company Inc. She returned to the Bay Area where she worked for her beloved Oakland Raiders. Claudia is survived by her brothers, thom, Robert and Martin and her sister, Cynthia. Funeral services and Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Alameda, CA at 12:30 p.m. and she will be buried at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Oakland, CA. Thinking of you today my dear friend. Hard to believe it's 14 years since you left us. Our old employer, Long's Drug's Stores is now CVS. This happened quite a few years ago. Rosewood Pavilion has not been the same since. They were the best times. Love you and miss you Claudia.

My dearest Claudia. I will never forget our morning drives to Dulles when I would pick you up in the VW and you would run from the house (did not want the hair to fall!) with your big fat curlers and trying not to trip in your Candies! I remember so much laughter and beind suite-mates at SWT, UT football players...and games. You are one of the funniest people I've ever met and it makes me smile to think of you.
