Conrado Curiel Obituary

Conrado G. Curiel
Nov. 25, 1927- May 10, 2013
Resident of Newark
Conrado G. Curiel passed away peacefully surrounded by his nine children on May 10, 2013. Conrad was born in Atenguillo, Jalisco. For the last 40 years, he lived in Newark where he raised his family, tended to his luscious garden full of fruit trees and vegetables, and was an avid beekeeper. Conrad was a self-taught, do-it-yourself kind of man. Until his final days, you would often find him working on his car, mowing his lawn, welding, or chopping wood. A great neighbor and friend, he was never too busy to lend a helping hand. Conrad is survived by his nine children, 13 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He is deeply loved and will forever be missed.
Viewing at Fremont Memorial Chapel, May 15, 6-9 p.m. Mass at St. Edwards in Newark, May 16 10.30 a.m.
