Sept. 29, 1978-March 15, 2015
Resident of San Ramon
Daniel David Basso, son of Daniel and Denise Basso, brother of Angela Warhank (Mike) and Jonathan Basso (Meghan) and uncle of Addie, Ryan and Brooklyn, touched many lives with his big heart, his sense of humor and his zest for life.
Daniel was born in Walnut Creek and resided in San Ramon. He attended St. Isidore's School in Danville and was a graduate of De La Salle High School in Concord, Class of 1997. Daniel loved playing baseball and continued playing through his years at Mesa College in San Diego. After college, Daniel returned to the Bay Area and joined the Operating Engineers Local 3 in Alameda. He loved his job and spending time outdoors especially at his uncle's property in Washington. Daniel's generous and loving spirit will live on and will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1pm at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville. A Reception will follow at St. Isidore's Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Daniel's name to Shepard's Gate Women's Shelter 1660 Portola Ave Livermore, CA. 94551
