Concord
Dan was raised in Concord though most recently a resident of Tualatin, OR. He passed away on Feb. 12, following a recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer. Dan was born in San Francisco to James A. (deceased) and Diane R. Clancy. He was a graduate of Queen of All Saints, and Mt. Diablo High School. Dan worked as a lithographer and at UPS in Concord and Tualatin. He was blessed with many dear friends who enjoyed his priceless sense of humor. Dan leaves behind a loving family including his mother Diane Clancy, son Killian, sisters Susan Serventi, Sharon Burt (Greg), Carol Freitas (Vernon), brothers Michael & Thomas Clancy, Cameron Royce, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Dan was very proud to have 25 plus years of sobriety. He thoroughly enjoyed hiking, fishing & bird watching. A memorial celebration of Dan's life will be held at The Concord Senior Center at Baldwin Park, 2727 Parkside Circle, Concord, on Saturday, March 7, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to GoFundMe.com, Dan Clancy, Concord, for his son Killian.

We will always remember you! Wonderful times we all had together through all the years we are enjoying getting to know Killian he's delightful we love him and he will be watched over forever ! We will meet again my friend until then we love and miss you!!

Dear Killian, Diane, Sharon, Carol, Michael, Thomas and Susan, My heart is also broken. You are never alone. We lost a man who was unique in so many ways. Danny was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. He went out of his way to be of service to others. I learned a lot from Danny and I feel blessed that I got to hang out with Danny before he moved back to Oregon. Our world will never be the same. I love all of you and will keep on praying that God gives you the strength to carry on. Love, Kath

It's hard to believe you're gone, Dan. You're missed by so many who thought the world of you. I'm thankful we spent quality time together before you so peacefully went to be with Dad and countless others who welcomed you home. You have my word that Killian will always be in good hands. It won't be long.. we'll have him picking imaginary butterflies out of the air just as you often did in a crowd. Until we meet again, know that you're loved and missed by all. Lots of love and hugs to you today, and always..
