Our sincere condolences to the Lyndon clan for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Danny as his football coach. One of the first memories, and it makes me smile every time I think of it, is when I had to get football cleats from the Oakland Raiders so you could practice as not many stores carry size 15. Then there was the time we lined you up in the backfield and had you lead through the hole for our running back. You will be missed by all but never forgotten. Rest In Peace! Coach McBride

Danny, you were definitely the big brother of Higgins Way. Scaring the crap out of me as a little girl, shouting from your car window. Keeping the tradition going as you shouted "Gordito!" every time you drove by Alex. We will miss your smile, your generosity, your great sense of humor. You left a legacy and you will never be forgotten. My only comfort is visualizing your reunion with your pops, "I´m all." The Lydon family will always hold a special place in my life and you´ve left a big hole. I hope that the love, stories, and memories will help to fill the hole somewhat. There´s no one quite like you Danny and you will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to your family, Jenny, and well, anyone who knew you. We grieve together.

Coach Danny, thank you for all the time you spent with us and making memories on and off of the football field. There has never been anyone that comes close to you. One of a kind you were. Thank you for all of the encouragement as well. You knew I needed that and you were always there to kind of guide me through the tough stuff and I will be appreciative for that forever. Through all the memories I will say the thing that stuck with me the most is what you´d always tell me which was "no matter what Leo, just be yourself". I love you, man. Rest easy with our Lord in heaven. I know you´re there now. Tell Phil I said hello also. I hope to be half the man you were, Dan. I hope I earn the right to see you again one day. Thank you for everything.

So sorry to hear the news of Danny´s passing. I wish I was able to attend his celebration but unfortunately I will be traveling out of state. My prayers to all of Team Lydon. Danny was always so fun to be around and I´ve shared many laughs with him as youths. Even through social media we would catch up and still have that great football chatter and share sorrow for our beloved teams, him Raiders, me Cowboys. Rest in celebration and happiness Danny! See you in eternity my friend!
