Resident of Antioch
David (Dave) was born in Antioch, California to Annette (Hugeny) Gatto and Judge Michael Gatto. He graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1960. He joined the Army National Guard and received an Honorable Discharge in 1967. He was a member of the IBEW Local 302 for over 50 years. He enjoyed going to Pinecrest, Hawaii and any kind of boating on the Delta. The faster the better.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, devoted children Michael Gatto of Dayton Nevada and Lorri Gatto-Listek (Frank) of Antioch, Grandsons David Gatto and Joe Gatto(Victoria), 4 great-grandchildren, Mia, Joseph, Jovanni and Natalie. He is also survived by his brother Dan Gatto(Peggy)
At his request there will be no public services.
Donations may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or Antioch Animal Services.

We traveled many thousands of miles together on the Delta - many memories of all those fun times.

there are simply no words. Gatto's smile was infectious his heart was kind and gentle, and these qualities cannot be bought. He was our buddy, our brother. We could always count on Gatto to be where he said he would be. If he could help he would. Anyone who was touched by Dave, knew his heart, his laugh and his true love for his friends. Sharon and family Dave was and IS a good one...Not soon forgotten, ever remembered with love
