He was larger than life. He will never be forgotten. He will never really be gone. Fran, give your babies a hug for me. I'll always cherish the memories of our times together - visiting you in FL and you visiting Tahoe.
After the tears, which flow all over the world today, I will smile for being blessed by having known Dave. I will never forget him- truly a great man whom I had the pleasure of knowing for 15 years - he was indeed the most charming Kappa Alpha, ever.
His love for his family was everything to him, he was a friend indeed, and his legacy of laughter and living large and making people smile...will live on forever.
He will be missed very much by all who knew him.

Fran, Kelly and David,
Dave was my boss for that last 9 years. He was one of the finest people I knew. He was an educator, mentor, and friend. He will always be in your hearts and I will miss him forever. Please take care of yourselves.

Dear sweet Fran, Kelly and David,
Hugs and kisses to each of you. You are in my prayers each day. I will always be available if you ever want or need anything.
All things work for good to those that love God and are called according to his purpose. Rest in the knowledge that Dave is at peace now with the Lord.

To Kelly and David: I am truly sorry for your loss. Dave was a good man who loved life and people. As you grow up, remember the things he taught you and live by them. He has always loved you and will be with you forever.
