Dear Joe and Carol,
I just heard about Dino's passing, and I'm so sorry I wasn't there for the services. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family in this trying time.
I will never forget Dino and Geno 'volunteering' to be ushers at my wedding, and how cheerful and helpful they both were. I will also remember fondly the summer Dino spent working for my dad, helping us move and how he kept hitting his head on the low ceiling in the basement.

I was so saddened to hear about Dino's passing. I hadn't seen him since 1987 or so, but I remember being such an easy going, fun person in high school. There is no doubt in my mind that Dino was a great son, husband, and father. He will be sadly missed, and will forever be in my thoughts.

Before writing in this guest book, I read what others had written. I wanted to write something that would describe the unique and special relationship that I had with Dino growing up. After reading the guest book I realized he had these relationships with everyone who was fortunate to know him. Dino had a unique way of making all his friends feel like a best friend.
It is my great regret not staying in touch with Dino, but the memories I shared with Dino and the Markette family will always be held very close to me and it is some of those cherished memories that make me a better person today. “Thank you Dino.”

Dear Markette Family
It is numbing to find out that someone has been taken at such a young age. When it hits close to your hometown and is someone that you remember watching grow up as a good friend's little brother, it is especially difficult. Dino was a great kid, and I am sure grew into a great man who touched many lives in a positive way.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family at this time of great loss.

Dear Joe, Carol, Geno, Vicki, Julie and children, Joey, Gina, Anna and Jason and extended family members,
Wow, such a young age to be taken from family and friends. I guess God had other plans for Dino and decided he was best needed in Heaven.
Dino was our Godchild, neighbor and friend. He thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings, stopping by and chatting, hanging out with our daughters, Sherry and Vicki and coming back and spending time in our neighborhood.
Dino was always very interested in other peoples lives and loved to hear about their adventures, daily activities and successes.
Life will be quite different without seeing him on Friday mornings visiting his parents, peering into their refrigerator for GOOD and HEALTHY food to eat or just rocking in their rocking chair.
Our neighborhood is like family with many of us living here over 40 years. Family occasions were enjoyed by all and lifes joys, hardships and sadness are felt by everyone in the neighborhood.
We are truly blessed to have such wonderful neighbors, whom we consider as family. Everyone in our neighborhood is sadden by this tragic event.
May God bless his family and give them strength through this difficult time.
WE WILL ALL MISS DINO ...
With Deepest Sympathy, In Friendship and Love,
Marvin and Louise

Dino, we were so honored to have you as family and even more honored to call you "friend!" You were a terrific brother in law, uncle to our kids, and godfather to Noah and we all loved you VERY much! We wish you were still here with us to talk to, laugh and play games with and to see your beautiful children grow up. We will tell Noah about how proud you were to be his godfather and blessed he was to have you as one. We were all blessed to have you for the short time we did. We hope there is hunting in heaven!

Dino, growing up you we're like a brother to me. Holding hands and jumping off the toy box singing here comes the bride. Painting rocks and going door to door to sell them, I think we made $10. Running after the ice cream truck, and all the times we missed him, because I slipped and fell in the gutter, and you had to help me up and take me home. But there were the times you still caught him, and even brought me our usual push up. Even in our 40's you were the only one that would still yell "Ana Banana". These are just a few of the memories I will charish. Until we meet again my friend, you will be deeply missed.

We are sadden and shocked about the passing of our dear friend and neighbor Dino. He always took the time to talk with us whether taking the kids to school, going to work or working in his yard. He always had a smile with a friendly hello. We have known him for over 15 years and have watched his family grow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Markette Family; especially to his wonderful wife, Julie and their beautiful children, Joey, Gina, Anna, and Jason. May God watch over you and bless you all.
