I've met Dottie when I started working at Rug Depot Outlet in 1999. She was always that happy-go-lucky salesperson. I'll remember the monthly competitions she had with Eduardo to see who sold the most rugs. She always kept herself busy & active...she's either traveling, pulling the weeds from her garden, dancing, or just having projects laid out. I can say she baked the best rum cake, sweet potato pie...and my all time favorite was her tuna salad... I won't forget how I’ve once joked about her pair of green slacks and she never wore them on the days when I worked with her. Though we parted ways when I started a new career, I still kept in touch with Dottie and send her cards with frogs – her favorite collectible. I’ll never forget the brunch we had at Hs Lordship for my birthday and I’m glad we took a very beautiful picture together. I will forever cherish that photo. Dottie was someone I looked up to. She gave me the courage to stand up and speak out when something wasn't right and I've learned a lot from her through the years. Her words of wisdom were to reach for the top and don’t settle for less.

It was a great pleasure to have met her...and she will never be forgotten. I will truly miss you….you are one of a kind! My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family & friends during this difficult time.
