Resident of Danville, CA
Elaine Jordan of Danville, CA passed away peacefully in her sleep at 81. She is survived by her children Jessica, Pat, and Sean, grandchildren, great grandchildren and sisters in law. In death she reunites with her husband Charles Jordan, whom she was married to for 49 years, her parents, James Walter Thomas and Irene, her brothers Allan and Gary Thomas, the twins, and her many cherished cats over the years. An English teacher in the 70's, she had a Bachelor of Arts Degree in drama and loved poetry, watching tennis, the arts, and all things whimsical, deep and full of meaning. Her house contained hundreds of angels, many of which she made. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind for her great humor, empathy and wisdom. A unique soul, she loved life, was Catholic and loved God, and she has successfully completed her journey here. All are welcome during the chapel viewing Thurs. November 4th from 4-8pm at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way in Danville, and funeral mass Fri. November 5th, 11am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd. San Ramon, CA.
