Eleanor Threadgill Obituary

ELEANOR THREADGILL Died peacefully March 30, 2004 in Springfield, VA after a long illness. She is survived by her son, Walter Threadgill and daughter-in-law, Sandra Threadgill, daughter, Lenore Coleman, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Born August 19, 1916 in Ventura, CA, Eleanor retired in 1981 as a legal secretary from the State of California Attorney General's Office. She was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church and faithfully served her church until she moved to Altadena, CA in 1990. Eleanor loved her church and family. She was an avid world traveler visiting many countries. Her other hobbies included gardening, sewing and playing bridge. She was a past member of the San Francisco Bay Area Service League, a charter member of the San Francisco Chapter of Jack and Jill Club and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Stars. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Crosby-N. Gray & Co., 2 Park Road, Burlingame, CA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004, 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 39 E. 39th Ave., San Mateo, CA.
