Elmer "Bud" Knutson

Elmer "Bud" Knutson Former Resident of Richmond Elmer E. "Bud" Knutson passed away April 6, 2007 in Napa, California. He was born in Minnesota on February 27, 1917 to Elmer and Inez Knutson. Bud was a WWII Navy Veteran. He served in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1945. Bud retired in 1979 after 30 years of driving freight trucks in the East Bay Area. He and his wife, Ione, reared their children in Richmond, California. They moved to Lake County in 1980. Ione preceded Bud in death in 1989. At Bud's request, no funeral services are planned. Arrangements and cremation services are under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, Napa. The family would like to thank Hospice of Napa Valley for their services, and Rose Garden Guest Home for their loving care of Bud since June of 2004.
