I apologise for using this space but am trying to locate a source where I can donate a document entitled: "HISTORY SECOND ENGINEER COMBAT BATTALION". I wrote a long message of what this document entails, but don't think it went through. My uncle Fred is noted, pg 179...Company C, Staff Sergeant. Frederick E. Knoeller, Jr. and is again noted on pg.186 as receipant of the Bronze Star for Bloody Hill 192. He most likely brought this booklet back with him or received it later from the military. Apologise again for using this space, but I was lost who to contact, and I think my initial writing disappeared into a black hole. Thanks, Hamilton Ross. 1223 McArthur Ave., Colorado Springs, CO. 80909. EMAIL: [email protected].

Gino you will truly be missed. You touched so many people's lives. You have no idea how much I appreciate the honor your gave my parents by showing up to their funeral in full military gear. My Dad would have been so touched. My family was and I thank you for that. God Bless you and may you be a peace.

Gino was a true friend, and someone who reached out to everyone. I will cherish the trips to the Columbo Club, and the great Italian Nights at Holy Spirit. My wife Angie and I enjoyed "double dating" with Gino and Mary Lou. God want him back in teh Kingdom!!!
