I apologise for using this space but am trying to locate a source where I can donate a document entitled: "HISTORY SECOND ENGINEER COMBAT BATTALION". I wrote a long message of what this document entails, but don't think it went through. My uncle Fred is noted, pg 179...Company C, Staff Sergeant. Frederick E. Knoeller, Jr. and is again noted on pg.186 as receipant of the Bronze Star for Bloody Hill 192. He most likely brought this booklet back with him or received it later from the military....

YOU ADDED A LOT TO MY MEMORIES OF 2D ECB ESPECIALLY OUR VISIT TO KOREA & THE 'BURNING OF THE COLORS' CEREMONY IN '91--EVEN FOUND MY OLD FOXHOLE--GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY FOR ALL THAT YOU WERE--!!

Gino,
May God hold you softly in the palm of His hand.
Thank you for your friendship to us.

Gino, you were a gem who will be missed dearly. You loved people... o! that wondeful smile of yours. May God grant you eternal rest. Bestman & Valentina

Gino you will truly be missed. You touched so many people's lives. You have no idea how much I appreciate the honor your gave my parents by showing up to their funeral in full military gear. My Dad would have been so touched. My family was and I thank you for that. God Bless you and may you be a peace.

Gino was a true friend, and someone who reached out to everyone. I will cherish the trips to the Columbo Club, and the great Italian Nights at Holy Spirit. My wife Angie and I enjoyed "double dating" with Gino and Mary Lou. God want him back in teh Kingdom!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
