He was born in Saint Helena, CA on October 23, 1925 and was raised in Berkeley, CA where he attended Berkeley High School and was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. During WWII, Chuck was a Lieutenant in the Air Force. He married the love of his life, Hope Anderson, also from Berkeley on April 4, 1952. He was happy to be involved and always brought a happy smile and keen sense of humor that he shared with everyone. He was the life of the party at family events and everyone looked forward to his company during the Holidays where is was always the honorary bartender. He was beloved by all of the friends of the family as well, including his children's closest friends who always went out of their way to say hello and to laugh at his many jokes. He made everyone around him feel comfortable and accepted and never put himself before anyone's needs. What a great role-model he was to everyone he met.
Chuck was proceeded in death by his Father Edward and Mother Patricia, and his only brother Donald. He is survived by his loving wife Hope of Martinez, daughters Lyn Walls of Dublin, Lee-Ann Cimino and son-in-law Chuck of Prunedale, and son Steve and daughter-in-law Jean Timken of Lafayette.
