I remember as a child going to visit mom's cousins, the Trigueiros,in east Bakersfield. My sister and I thought Frances Lee looked like a beauty queen plus she was always so interested in talking to us very young and silly girls! As the years went by her beauty seemed eternal and she must have had constant remarks about it but she never appeared to be vain! Around us she was spirited and loving. And,oh, her fabulous laugh! She loved family gatherings at our relatives, the Souza's Pismo Beach house to enjoy the Portuguese St. Anthony festa each year in August. When she couldn't come this way from up north we all missed her and she did us. If only we didn't have to part from those we love but instead say our good-byes when we all reached 100! Fortunately, Frances, with her warmth and outgoing personality, gave us many happy memories while sharing her life with all of us! We are going miss her dearly!

When someone we love falls asleep in death the memories we have of them become our treasure, may those cherished memories of a life well lived and Gods promise at John 6:40 bring you a measure of comfort. My condolences to the family.
