I first met Gary in 1959 at Redwood Intermediate School in Castro Valley. I last saw Gary in !963 at Earl Warren Junior High School, as he would later attend Castro Valley High, and I would later go on to attend Canyon High. And, in the next 30 years or so, I lost track of Gary Zaretkza. Then in 1998 or so, I was talking to one of the new engineers that M&S had just hired, and that is how we found out that we knew each other from our early school days. With the other engineers at M&S, It was all shop talk, but with Gary it was all about the good old days in the 50's & 60's. And that's how I'll always remember Gary as the tallest kid in school. Goodbye old friend, and thanks for the memories.
