Dear Shirley, Pam, Ed, Kathleen, & Thomas,
My heartfelt condolences to you. May God overshadow you with His peace and love now and in the days to come.
I will miss George, my next door neighbor for over 18 years. He was an honorable and wise person. I enjoyed his stories and learned many things from him. He lived his life with purpose and discipline. I am grateful for his enduring dedication to the preservation of the Lancewood community. His leadership over the decades contributed to making our home a wonderful place to live.
It has been such a blessing to have a neighbor like George. Thank you
George for giving of yourself to make a difference.
*** Rest in Peace***

I've known George and Shirley for 10 years as neighbors and as HOA Board members. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know George over the years. He has made so many great contributions to our association, was very kind and fair, and someone we could count on. George was always ready with an interesting story to share, which I always enjoyed hearing. I will miss him. Sending my love and prayers to Shirley and family. Warmest thoughts, Darla

Uncle George was my godfather and went to school (Fremont High and Idaho State University) with my father, Don Darrow. One of my fondest memories are of Uncle George, Aunt Shirley and my parents (Don & Glenda) playing bridge. In spite of our family moving away from California when I was 7 we kept in touch throughout the years. Uncle George & Aunt Shirley attended my wedding in 1985 and the bond between us grew. After my husband, Bob and I moved to Nevada in 2001 we visited several times. I visited this past June and I'm so glad that I did. He shared stories of my parents and I treasure them and the memory of my Uncle George. I know that he is in heaven with both of my parents and they are with their Savior. My sincere condolences to Aunt Shirley, Pam, Kathy, and all his brothers and sisters, aunt, grandson, Tommy (whom he talked about often), friends and neighbors whose life he touched.
