Gladys Alexine Marr

1915 - 2008 Gladys Alexine Marr native of Alameda passed away in San Leandro on June 18, 2008 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Marr. Devoted mother of Melody Marr. Sister of Leon, Oscar, Henry, Ernest, Adrian and Rose Perenon. She was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a fantastic cook, she loved gardening, sewing, theatre, Bingo and the Oakland A's. She was a member of the Oakland A's Boosters. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday June 26, 2008 at 10:30AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, High St. and Van Buren in Alameda. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. In lieu of flowers her family prefers that blood donations be made to the American Red Cross Blood Bank or memorial contributions be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
