Hazel you were like a sister to me and sometimes even a mother. You were always concerned for my well being. You were funny and had a style all your own. You stood so straight and proud, that I often tried to mimmick your walk. Infact I credit my posture to you especially after the accident. You even turned me on to "Blair". I always had a pick of chairs at your house, you were so concerned for my comfort. I feel blessed with having wonderful sister inlaws, who were more like sisters to me. I will miss you, with all my heart. Sis' Esther

Auntie Hazel, You shared your home on the holidays with us. Didn't want mom and I to be alone. You were the "Senator" I even made a campaigne contribution. You were informed, about what was happening in the world, what sports team was playing and what was going on politicaly. You had a wonderful laugh, that I bring to mind when I want to smile. You were the life of a party. I'm going to miss your warm hugs, your laugh and lipstick on my cheek. There will never be another woman quite like you. We will miss you and love you through eternity. Aunt Hazel,
What I will most remember is your infectious laugh. You always seemed to have a smile on your face and you definitely always had a sense of humor. I cannot imagine a better best friend for Grandma Hilda to have had than you. I still laugh when I think of you and Grandma Hilda losing Grandma's car at Southland Mall (I know it wasn't funny at the time, but...)
Thank you so very much for opening your home to me and Monica when we got bored at her grandparents house in Mission Bay and ended up knocking on your door - I think you fed us more than a few times. I always felt so welcome in your home.
I know you, Grandpa George, Grandma Hilda and all the other Jardines are up there having a grand ole party, like you used to in the Paradise Social Club Days. You will be missed. I'll keep you in my heart always.
Love Mysty (and family - KC, Samantha & Kyle)

When I remember of Aunt Hazel, I remember dancing at Paradise Social Club events, and family New Year's Eve parties at Uncle Tony's & Aunt Rose's house. Did the polka more than once with Aunt Hazel at weddings.
One thing I'll never forget about Aunt Hazel, once she kissed you "Hello," or "Good-bye," you knew you had been kissed. But you know what, that was alright.
I'm so glad to have been able to make it down for our last family reunion.
Aunt Hazel, I will always remember your big hugs, big smiles and the way you made everyone welcome
Will miss you, nephew Ray.

You were my role model, my loving and caring mother. You were "the holidays" - all of them. In a phone conversation with Anita Silva, she said that to the Silva's you were "spectacular". "You lit up a room and made everything alright". I will miss your sense of humor, your contagious laughter and beautiful style and smile. I will miss you, as I have missed Dad, Grandma Rose , Uncle Archie, Betty and Suzanne.

Thank you Mother for all the love you have given to me. I'am going miss the many nights that I brought you your cup of Tea and 4 cookies and to be able to tell you I loved you before I would go to bed. A kiss on the cheek and a hug from you. What more did one need. You will always be in my heart forever. Love Loreen

Grandma I love you so much. Thank you for all the great times we had together. My best memories of Grandma are when she always had a way of making me feel better when times got hard. I was always very proud to show her off to my friends and they could not believe what a great personality she had. I will give you a big hug when I see you in Heaven Grandma love always Charlie

I am saddened to hear of Hazel's passing. My parents, Manny and Bernice King, were members of the Paradise Social Club and both my sister and I grew up with the entire Jardine family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
