Jacques Rourke Murray Jacques Rourke Murray, born August 14, 1913 in Oakland, California, passed away at home in Walnut Creek, California on Tuesday, June 15, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Susan A. Murray of Danville, California, and by her son, James M. Murray, and his wife, Sherry A. Murray, of Morgan Hill, California. She also leaves behind two grandsons, Scott M. Murray and Bryan J. Murray. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Willard L. Murray. During her long marriage with her husband, Bill, and his management career with Pacific Gas & Electric Company in Oakland, Yuba City/Marysville, Salinas/Monterey/Pebble Beach and, following his retirement in Walnut Creek, Jacques was active in many community service activities and organizations. In particular, she enjoyed her many years as a member of Hilltop Branch of Children's Hospital of the East Bay. Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 22 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 2039 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital of the East Bay (Hilltop Branch), 747 52nd Street, Oakland, CA 94609; to the ALS Association, 27001 Agoura Road, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301; or to a non-profit organization selected by the donor.
