It is with great sadness that the Family of Jim (coach) Caccavo announce his passing.
Jim passed away on November 2nd.
Born of Italian immigrants, and born and raised in Martinez He attended Alhambra high school and continued on to Sacramento State for his bachelors degree.
He then returned to martinez where
He spent most of his career teaching and coaching track at Pittsburgh High, as well as coached JV football at Alhambra High for several years .
He was loved by many, his son, family , childhood friends and several students.

Like to attend Services they will be held in his honor on Saturday December 4th @ 11:00am at Christ The King Catholic Church. Pleasant Hill ,Ca.
Masks are required .

Destiny brought me here. I saw a former cross country mate at the store, and she informed me of Caccavo's passing. The news saddens me. Coach had a positive impact on my life; he was very kind and helpful. Coach Caccavo will be missed.

My condolences to the Caccavo's and everyone else touched by this loss. Coach was an amazing man who pushed me to strive for greatness on and off the field. I am sure that he touched countless lives in the same way that he touched mine and I can't imagine the pain felt from this loss. He will be greatly missed.
