James Lyman Ralph

James Lyman Ralph James Lyman Ralph of Pinole. Passed away February 6, 2004 at the age of 90. Born January 16, 1914 in Berkeley, CA. Jim is survived by his wife Grace of 64 years, his daughter Joanne Kennon of Pinole, his son John Ralph of Tracy. Also survived by his half brothers Ernest Ralph and wife Rosemary of San Jose and Melvin Ralph and wife Emily. Loved by his grandchildren Lori Kennon-Bizicki of Concord, Kelly Grant and husband Sam of Pinole, Douglas Kennon of Pinole, and Jaclyn Ralph of Carmichael, his great grandchildren, Andrew and Danielle Grant and Derrick Bizicki. He was preceded in death by his son Gary Ralph. After graduating from Fresno State College, Jim worked as an Engineer at Shell Development Co where he retired after 33 years of service. After retirement Jim enjoyed traveling with his wife, gardening and building things in his workshop. A memorial service will be held Monday February 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m at University Christian Church, 2401 Le Conte Avenue, Berkeley, CA. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
