JEROME MACHADO

Jerome Anthony Machado Resident of Concord Born January 21, 1925 in Concord, CA, passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 87 on Monday, April 9, 2012. A devoted husband of 64 years, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 2011. Jerome is survived by his four daughters, Margaret Davis, Maria Wells, Patricia Jones (Scott) all of San Diego and Jeanne Greiner (Ben) from Forks, WA and his two sons Robert Machado (Valerie) of Brentwood, CA and Richard Machado (Mary) of Denver, CO and brother, David Machado of Concord CA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Jerome and his family were residents of Concord until they moved to Oregon in 1974. In 2007, he and his wife decided to make San Diego their retirement home residence. A Funeral Mass service will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 6016 Camino Rico in San Diego CA on Monday, April 16th, at 10 a.m. with interment immediately following at Singing Hills Memorial Cemetery, 2800 Dehesa Rd., El Cajon, CA. In lieu of flowers the family would gratefully appreciate donations being made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to SHARP Hospice Care of San Diego.
