John Richards Obituary

JOHN J. RICHARDS A resident of Hayward for 9 years, passed away July 19, 2003, at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Florence Richards of Hayward. Father of Jacqueline Moran of Richardson, TX, Susan Cruikshank of Westford, MA, Claudia Katz of Westport, CT, Rosemary Thomas of Plano, TX, Linda Ladner of Shrewsbury, MA and John David Richards of Newfoundland, NJ. Grandfather of Melissa and Meghan Moran, Scott and Lauren Cruikshank, Matthew, Meredith and Samantha Katz, Nicholas and Ryan Thomas, Drew and Teagan Ladner and Joseph Ditre. John retired from his own business, AIMS, LTD. He worked part time for Orchard Supply Hardware in San Ramon. He was a U.S. Army Korea veteran. John loved to cook and was quite an artist of pastel paintings. Friends are invited to attend the Memorial services at Transfiguration Church, 4000 E. Castro Valley, Blvd., Castro Valley on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions preferred to Transfiguration Church, 4000 E.
