Judge Delbert Gee
December 17, 2022
I appeared in Judge Carson´s court but didn´t get to know him until after he retired and I also became a Superior Court judge. Not only did I get to know Joe from our many bar association and other professional meetings, but I also had the pleasure of speaking with and getting to know Antoinette. I´ll never forget how friendly and welcoming Joe was to me when I was a new judge. Thank you Judge Carson.

Massive respect. No one ever proved better that being a judge doesn't mean one can't understand justice or earnest public service, can't have a playful sense of humor ("The Marsupial Court", what a gem!), can't be humble, or can't be fair. If there was one man in Alameda County who alone could comprise a jury of your peers, it was Judge Carson.
