I met Josh at WCI, we used to hang out in auto shop at las lomas working on his camaro. He was always very easy to get along with. After Del Oro we lost touch but saw eachother around town once in awhile. He always told me to stop by anytime. The last time I saw him was at chevron when Joanna and Josh were there in his truck with his bikes in the back. I wish I had gotten more time to hang out with him.

Dear Joshie, it has been 2 months since we lost your beautiful spirit and your sweet presence. Our family has such a void, one that can never be filled. I look at your picture on top of that mountain, and I smile and know what happiness you had with your friends there. Your time here was so short, but you will always be remembered and loved. XOXO Much love, Aunt Cetta

Josh you will be loved and missed by all, you were great man who always was there to listen as well as give advice. I will never forget when you were riding with me on the rubicon and lance broke his rig, i had to hop out and drive his jeep and you gladly with a huge smile jumped in my driver seat and took over and had a blast wheeling the cherokee. You did the right thing protecting your family and we are very proud of you. We love you, We miss you, And we will always remember you.

To Sam, Brandi, Dusty and Bonnie,
Nothing can be added at this time
that would come close to comforting your family any further.
I am a first cousin to Dusty, second
cousin to Josh. Never had the pleasure of meeting Josh; but I couldn't feel any closer to him in spirit after reading the warm remembrances of him from other family members and friends, than as I feel for my brothers and sisters. What a privilege to share the lineage with Josh. Am sure I would feel the same towards
Brandi. Hope to meet you all some day. Dusty, last time I saw you, I was sixteen and you were no more than two. Stay the course, cuz.
Mom, you taught him well. What
a guy.

My heart goes out to Josh's family and Joanna; I know how hard it is losing someone as special as Josh. I went to school with Josh at WCI and Las Lomas, but it wasn't until we met up again at Del Oro that we really became friends. Josh was always so hilarious and made me actually look forward to going to school every day so we could hang out in Mr. Waterhouse's class. A bit of time passed after we graduated, and when Josh started going out with my best friend's sister, I was stoked at the chance to hang out with him again. I never got to know Josh deeply, but he did have such a great outlook on life and I always had a great time just talking with him.

Rest In Peace buddy, you'll be missed by lots of us down here.

After reading what everone has said about Josh, i know i'm not the only one who feels the same way about him. Everyone that knew Josh, knew what type of guy and soul he was.
He was my friend and i'm so blessed to have had him as my friend. He is the sweetest guy. He was real and not some fake type of person. He is one of those people you could call if you needed someone and he would be there. Josh is loving, caring and a well rounded person.
Driving by His house and not honking will be hard. But i will remeber him with his rosy cheeks and his kind heart.
Josh you are and always will be loved and in our hearts. You are brave and a wonderful man. Love you and see you again someday....

My prayers & love go to his family....

Dearest Sam, Brandy, Dusty,

There are no words that can express my grief for you over the untimely death of Joshua. What a brave and loving son he always has been. I learned of this just an hour ago; it's Monday morning and I am sick in bed with flu or I would be there at your side. Know that my heart and prayers are with each of you. This is sadness beyond description.

Dearest Sam, Dusty + Bonnie, Brandi and Paul,
To all family and friends, those who knew and loved Joshua. To my SWEET and BRIGHT (both intellectually and spiritually) nephew. I can see your sparkling eyes and rosey-cheeked, happy face, Josh. Your gentle and kind spirit, shining across your Dad's living room into the kitchen from the couch where you sat. You lit up the place as you lit up the hearts of our family who loved you so dearly. It is Easter time........a time of renewal and reflection of our Savior Jesus Christ. You also made the supreme sacrifice, you protected your Mother and gave your life for her in a split second. I will always remember your beautiful, smiling face as you'll remain forever young in my memory and heart. You are a young man of great honor and courage. Rest in peace, my nephew. God be with all who mourn your senseless loss. May He help our broken hearts to heal and find peace. May all of our memories of Josh make us smile inside and out! To Sam and Dusty, remember the Footprints Prayer, it will help carry you through this. I love you. My thoughts and prayers are with you especially. Aunt Dorothy.

No better way to describe Josh than a sweetheart. He really did have one of the biggest hearts I've ever known. It seems like every time we were all together Josh just made things lighter, and more fun. He was very optimistic, and always willing to give advice or help a friend out. He was a really honorable guy, and we should all be proud of the person he was. My best to his family.

Josh is loved by many and he will truly be missed. I’ve been lucky to know Josh for about 2 years, and my heart goes out to everyone; friends, family, loved ones. Josh was an amazing young man who lived life in the moment. He was always up for a good time. He has many friends who love him because he was the guy who would do absolutely anything for you, the guy who would go out of his way to help you out. Whatever it was that you needed, a ride, help moving, a friend to talk to, he was there. His personality was one-of-a-kind. He was so compassionate and had a huge heart. He was always a joy to be around and I will never forget his smile and laugh…which were both truly unique and always went hand in hand. I’m thankful for all the great memories I have of Josh and he will always be in my heart.

Josh was the love of my life, my best friend, and my confident. I could tell him anything and I knew that he would always be there for me. His family accepted me into their lives as one of their own. I have never felt so much love from one person and I know that he is up in Heaven feeling all the love that everyone is sharing down here on Earth. I was lucky enough to have him for two years!!! Josh: Remember when you told me that dying was your biggest fear? Well, I guess in the face of your fear you went out like such a MAN. I'm so proud of you.

Josh was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He knew a lot of people and was friends with everybody. He was fun to be around and party with. Josh is greatly missed by many... Rest in peace, we will all be up there with you one day.

Bonnie & Dusty,
After reading comments to your family about your wonderful son, Joshua, and seeing the photos posted I can see why he is so very special to you and I know that your hearts are broken. I pray that you lean on God during your time of loss and focus on Joshua's wonderful life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Josh we'll be trully missed. I knew him since he was in high school and my husband and I had fond memories of him boating, snowboarding, off-roading, go-cart racing with us. He was a great person to hang out with. Our condolences goes out to his family.

Josh's passing has deeply affected me. A long time as passed between today and the Josh I knew. He was always a sweet kid, with a pure heart and intentions. My heart aches for you all.

Much love, blessings, and peace in this difficult time,
