June Pointer Obituary

JUNE ANTOINETTE POINTER Born November 30, 1953 in Oakland, California to Rev. Elton and Sarah Pointer passed away peacefully at 1:10 p.m., April 11, 2006. Like a baby returns to the lap of her mother, June rested in the arms of Ruth and Anita in her final hours of life with brothers, Aaron and Fritz by her side. Our angel has gone to sleep with the angels. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Location: Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles in the Church of the Hills. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Location: Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries in the Church of the Hills. On Wednesday, April 26, at 12:00 p.m. a brief interment memorial service will be held at the Mt. Tamalpais Mortuary and Cemetery, 2500 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in honor of June Antoinette Pointer to weSPARK Cancer Support Center. weSPARK helps enhance the quality of life for cancer patients, their families and friends by providing free emotional support. Donations can be made at www.wespark.org or by phone at 818-906-3022.
