Klaus Liebisch, known to many as "Speedy", was called home Tuesday, August 4, 2015 after battling cancer. Born in Berlin, Germany he came to the United States at the age of ten. His mother Giesle married Reginald Nicholls and was blessed with four siblings, Bobby, Jimmy, Dorothy and Penny. As a young man he married Martha "Anna" embracing his role as stepfather to Nicky, Johnny, Gloria, Gina, Connie, Eddie, Joni and granddaughters Krisanne and Jeanette. Klaus found unique and profitable hobbies which included classic cars and building country homes in Fiddletown, CA. He touched many lives with his sense of humor, infectious smile and enormous heart. After the death of his beloved wife Anna in 2011, he met Paula Harvey who brought joy and companionship back into his life. This beloved husband, brother, father and endearing friend will be greatly missed by all including his 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Services will be held in his honor at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 29th - Sherwood Church 5570 Olinda Road El Sobrante CA 94803

Paula always often mentions her beloved Klaus. Whenever I have my hair done, sooner or later, this wonderful man is mentioned. We got to know this dear fellow at our annual Canadian Thanksgiving dinner and it was a pleasure too. Klaus brought Paula so much happiness and she misses this man dearly.

We know what happiness Klaus brought Paula, which made us happy for her and him. I remembers seeing them one day at Safeway. Those two were giggling like school children as they were walking down the vegetable section. I just knew right from that moment that they were good for each other and full of so much happiness. I know that Paula is suffering and missing that man so much.
