This is terrible, Kostya and I were friends in middle school, he was a funny and smart friend. I remember the ballad he wrote for a class in 7th grade about "Eomar the Bold", it was really the best one and had an epic beowolf feel to it. I am very sorry to hear of this, I cannot believe it. I thought saw him on the street in Berkeley two weeks ago but I couldn't be sure it was him because it has been so many years. I wish I had said something.
