Larry Dennis Obituary

Resident of Union City, CA
Loving husband to Vivien for 61 years, father to Michelle and Nicole, grandfather to Nate and Jeremy, brother to Darrell. We hope grandson Elijah and brother Jerry were part of the welcoming committee on the other side as well as countless animals he helped rescue during his lifetime.
Always busy with a hobby or project from tennis to sailing, restoring classic cars and completing his own van conversion, from fly-tying and photography; he could build or fix anything! He took pride in his work and nothing was done halfway.
Larry's compassion for the environment, animals and people led him to be a protector of waterways, conservation teacher to school kids, fly-fishing instructor for Vets with PTSD and even forming a 5013c nonprofit animal rescue group with his wife.
A California native, Larry served in the U.S. Air Force overseas where he met his future bride. He lived a full, meaningful and successful life. His family and friends will miss his charm and wit, heart and gifts tremendously.
