I miss you, Linda...
I can't help but think of you, like I always have all the years.
It is because of you that I tried so hard in school. Life's circumstances kept me away from graduating, but still, I have never given up.
And for you, my friend, who I miss so very much... whatever I do.. I will do it for you, too!
My kids even sneeze like you.. and with that I will forever have you near me with the little reminders so that you will live inside my life while I am here.
Love you so much.

You will be missed my friend....

Happy and Bob,
I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Linda that I am not quite able to come up with the words I need to explain how I feel. She was deeply loved and adored as a special mother, daughter and friend. It is such a loss for so many. This world has lost a beautiful and caring girl who made everyone feel good with her bright smile. I have many wonderful childhood memories of the times I had with Linda. I will truly never forget her.

Linda and I were very, very close friends years ago, and although we had only seen each other a few times over the years, it does not make this terrible loss any easier to accept. We had recently started to reconnect and catch up again, and I am so sad and so very sorry about what has happened to her. I have a lot of great memories of all of the fun times we had together. Linda was a very loving mother and I know that her children really meant the world to her. I am heartbroken for Brooke and Derek and for the whole family, that you all have to go through losing her, and you are all in my prayers.

Happy,
My heart is broken for you and your family. I met Linda all because of you! You knew she and I would be friends-you even sorta set us up! And you were right, we became so close for many years. I will never understand what happened. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and a part of happier times. I will never ever forget Linda; her warm smile, her cute child-like voice, her generous heart, her beauty. She was the sun on a dark day, and I loved her, as did many. I am sorry we fell out of touch, but you and your family will always hold a very special place in my heart and I will keep you in my prayers regularly. My most sincere condolences to you. Linda was always an angel; at least she is in a place now where she fits in perfectly. God Bless You! Please Email me any time: [email protected]

Working with Linda for the past three years gave me the joy of talking to her nearly everyday. She was upbeat and I always appreciated her because although my job can be stressful, I always knew talking to Linda would bring me a smile. Although we are in different cities, we became friends over the years and she always said that if we worked in the same city we would definitely have lunch together. I sadly will never have the pleasure of having lunch with her but I will always cherish the memory of our conversations.
Brooke and Derek- My condolences for your loss. Your mom always talked about both of you and she was always proud of everything that you both did. I know that she is watching over you and that by reading all of the messages written here she will know you that you are both very loved and will be taken good care of.

How do you explain the inexplicable or comprehend the incomprehensible? Our deepest condolences to the family. We were your next door neighbors for seven years and this has been one of the most devastating events in our lives to comprehend.
Derek and Brooke, there are little words that can bring comfort at this time...it's too new. But I need you to know that God holds you in his hands. This event does not withhold the wondrous plans that God has for your lives. In all your ways (and in all your days) acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
My home has always been open to you, and it still is. I'll leave you with Samori's cell phone number -(925-628-4364...Linda always called him Zamori...it was one of those things I always thought I would have the time to eventually tell her.
God Bless You Both, Wendell, Arlene, Samori, and AJ.

Derek and Brooke...
How can we begin to type something here moving and inspirational to help guide you both in life’s new path, when we cannot yet wrap our heads around your parents passing ?? Right now we stand beside you with our heads hanging low.. Right now we cannot see past the blurr of questions in our minds… The tasks of the day seem so hard… But someday you will be able to see again.. Someday soon you will hold your head up high and feel the sun on your face.. The love they both had for you two kids is so overwhelmingly strong that it will give you the strength to move down the path one step at a time… Among all the confusion, anger, sorrow and frustration, one thing stands firm.. You Brooke and Derek are not alone.. You never have been, you never will be… We will not let you slip.. Not now… Not ever…
As you know.. we love you both…

Brian and I bought our first home on Mount Hamilton Drive around the same time Rob and Linda bought theirs. It was a quiet street then (back in 1994) and everyone always said hello and waived to each other. When Linda spoke of Derek or Brooke her smile would light up a room. She was so very very proud of her two children and their accomplishments. I know in my heart Linda will continue to guide her two children throughout their young lives and into adulthood as if she were still physically on this earth. May God comfort Derek and Brooke and Linda's entire family during this tragic time.
The sadness in our home is almost unbearable.

Dear sweet Linda,
I remember when we worked together at AIAC you were always upbeat. positve, bubbly and friendly I admired that in you! WE had some laughs back then. Linda was always such a friendly and sweet person... it is unbelievable and unfair that her life on earth has ended so abruptly. In the short time that I knew her (since the opening of AISC a little over a year ago), she was very happy, friendly, proud mama of her 2 kids, always bragging about them every chance she got. She also had many kind and caring words to offer me recently when Kevin suddenly was taken from us. She is an angel now, and I have no doubt that she will be bragging about her kids in Heaven, and watching over them from above. God Bless you Linda, and my deepest condolences to Derek and Brooke, and the rest of Linda's family...
