Lucille Roach Obituary
August 25, 1916 - June 6, 2013
Resident of San Leandro
Lucille, a long-time resident of San Leandro, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 96. She is survived by her brother, Adam Fernandes of Rio Vista, her son Anthony Andrew Roach of San Leandro, and her daughter Shirlee Marie Lulich of Medford, Oregon. She is predeceased by her husband for 70 years, Anthony ("Tony") L. Roach, her daughter Gerrilynn, her four sisters and by four brothers.
Lucille was born in Santa Rosa. After graduating from San Leandro High School, she worked as a clerk-typist on government projects and at Montgomery Wards, until she married in June 1939.
Her service and interment will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon nearby. For more info, call San Leandro Funeral Home at (510) 483-5300.
