Bill, Cindy & Walsh family:
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. We remember how you always spoke so fondly of her. We keep you and your whole family in our prayers, for we know that the prayers of those who care for you is what helps get us through the loss of a loved one. What a wonderful woman -- full of life and full of God's spirit. A devoted wife and caring mother of eleven. She dies surrounded with the love of her large family and many friends.
The Paynes used to live across the "horse pasture" from the Walsh family. Ann, Mary and Betty used to babysit us back in the mid-70's.
I graduated with Pat in 1981 and was saddened by his loss 1996. I don't know how many times I've told the story of Pat's funeral and just how many people came to it, because of how many lives he touched.
Lucy's life was like her son's -- she surrounded herself with many children, relatives and friends. She always gave of herself and thought of others first.
She is already dearly missed.

My family and I have known yours for at least 40 years. My brother went to school with Dicky, my son played ball with your's. Plus my son has worked for your's. I know of the loss. I even was offical scorekeeper for different teams. Pat, use to come to my house just to talk about cars to me. She was a jewell of a person. She will be surley missed. Judy

We first knew of Lucy and Dick Walsh through their involvement with Clayton Valley Little League. The Walsh’s seem to have been involved with every phase of the league. Where ever Dick would be I knew Lucy was somewhere close, those two were inseparable. Lucy would always welcome you with a smile and honor you by laughing at your jokes, even if they weren't funny.
In 1995 I was chosen to umpire in the Senior League World Series, and both Dick and Lucy accompanied us to Florida that late summer. Both my wife and myself were honored by the Walsh’s support and friendship, and they became known as my ‘uncle and aunt’. Both Dick and Lucy went to every game I umpired, and attended all the umpire functions as part of our family. What a great time, they gave us some great memories.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Walsh family.

Lucy was such a special person. I was very priviledged to know her during her Little League years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
