MARGARET DAVI

Margaret Davi April 2 1918-Feb 19, 2012 Resident of Antioch and beloved mother of Bob (Gini), Anthony "Tony" (Kathy), Denise Barrios (Rich), Carole French (Tom) and daughter-in-law Sandy Davi. Joined her Heavenly Father at age 93 on Feb 19th. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, son Jim and grandsons Jimmy French and Michael Davi. Margaret leaves 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all dearly loved. Margaret and her husband James owned and operated James Mens Shop in Antioch for over 20 years. She was the consummate homemaker & was happiest when she had her family gathered for one of her grand meals, most famously spaghetti & meatballs. Nana, Grandma-Nana or Grams, as many of her grandchildren & great grand children called her was loved by all. She had the kindest of hearts, always putting others before herself. Margaret was a member of Holy Rosary Church for over 50 years. Her relationship with the Lord guided her life, her relationships with family & friends, and her peaceful travel from Earth to Heaven. Quail Lodge in Antioch was her home for the last 7 years & the staff became her extended family. The family wishes to thank Mary Serna, Margaret's caregiver, Holy Rosary Church, Carla from Legion of Mary & Quail Lodge staff for their love and attention these past years. Our thanks go also to Fr. Francisco Vicente, Sand Creek Kaiser and VITAS Hospice for their amazing care and more recent support. A Celebration of Margaret's Life is planned for Sunday, March 25th 4PM at Lone Tree Golf Course. Family & friends are asked to mark their calendar.
