Marie Addiego Obituary

MARIE A. ADDIEGO Passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2001. She had celebrated her 90th birthday in November. She was the beloved wife of the late WIlliam B. Addiego and mother of Diane and Rod Santos and Jeannine Mitchell and Carol Rannals, a dear friend adopted into the family. She was the loving grandmother of Steve and Doreen Santos and Lori Pellizzer and great-grandmother of Jarrod Pellizzer and Jasmin Barnes. Marie also leaves behind two brothers Frank and Joseph DeRenzi, two sisters Josephine Compani and Gloria Patania and one brother-in-law Frank Addiego and many nieces and nephews as well as great-grandnieces and great grandnephews. Marie was born in Italy and came to reside in San Francisco at 2 years of age where she grew up, met and married William, her husband for 70 years. They moved to Redwood City with their two daughters in 1950 where she continued to be the strength behind the man, supporting him in all his endeavors. She will be missed by all her family and many dear friends. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday, January 2, 2002 after 3:00 P.M. at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Rd., Redwood City. Vigil service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at Redwood Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 300 Fulton Ave. at James Ave., Redwood City. Private family Cryptside Service will be held at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery Los Altos. The family respectfully requests flowers not be sent. Donations to charity of choice preferred in memory of Marie A. Addiego. REDWOOD CHAPEL 847 WOODSIDE RD. REDWOOD CITY, CA (650) 369-5537
