Marilyn Ellis Obituary

Marilyn Ellis
March 26, 1936 - Dec. 3, 2020
Resident of Livermore, CA
Marilyn Ellis passed away peacefully, Thursday Dec. 3, 2020, at the age of 84. She was born on March 26, 1936 to Dorothy and William Billings. Marilyn was born and raised in Ishpeming, MI, with her sisters Gail Guizzetti and Ruth Montero.
Marilyn moved to California in 1954 and met her loving husband, of 63 years, Tom Ellis. Marilyn was cheerful and always stayed herself till the day she died. Although she is not here in physical form, we know she is with us in spirit, giving us her own kind of wisdom, guidance & pure bliss.
She was an amazing mother to her two sons, Tom and Peter, and an amazing mother-in-law to Lisa and Kristine. The loves of her life were her grandchildren, Matthew, Cleopatra, Nicholas, Devin, Tyler, Anaei, Gillian and Kevin. The bonus loves of her life were her great grandchildren, Maya and Adeline.
Marilyn loved to attend Jazzercise and Zumba classes at Las Positas College and LARPD. Picnicking at Del Valle was her favorite family outing, providing it was not yellow jacket season. Marilyn loved to dance to Mambo Number 5 and Back it Up.
We miss you grandma, but don't worry, we will write the rest of this story and see you when our time comes. We all love you.
"There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart" – Mahatma Gandhi
